mc supernatural freestyle

amazing clip. this is a video of supernatural, quite possibly the greatest freestyler of all time, doing his famous schtick where audience members hold up random items for him to rhyme about unrehearsed and off the top. not being very verbally oriented, i am so wowed by this skill, and have such a hard time understanding how this is even humanly possible.

disposable heroes of hiphoprisy- california uber alles

alot of people are familiar with spearhead, but not many know that michael frantis career goes way back before them.
originally he was involved in an experimental punk band in the eighties called the beatnigs, and then in 1990 went on to form a group called the disposable heroes of hiphoprisy, which in my opinion is some of his strongest and most intense work.

this is a live performance of his cover of the sex pistols california uber alles, and its a good example of the strength of his earlier work, which i highly recommend checking out. this song kicked my ass then, and it still does.

nerdcore for life

definitely looking forward to this documentary.
